SIPPING A PLIGHT
so much to do, so little time
I wish I was on venus, tasting its wine
The heaving and the howing of daily life
Becoming a drain of all but your light
Wishing you where near, wishing you where here
A sholder to cry on, to howl out my plight
The tug of war reaches my heart
Restraints are pulled and torn apart
The emotional upheavil of lifes utter tasks
Taking a toll stretching me tight
I wish you where here, to share my plight
Sharing my feeling in what looks like a fight
The haze of the future cannot be seen
Persistance of worry leads to a need
The outcome for me at this moment in time
